This Day in Presbyterian History: Tolerance or Liberal Takeover?

One slight caveat below:  we believe that the Rev. Dr. Macartney was the Pastor of First Presbyterian, Pittsburg, rather than Arch Street Presbyterian, Philadelphia.  Also, Dr. Macartney was commendably an old school Confessionalist like the Rev. Dr. J. Gresham Machen.
